About Tutorial
Tigrinya Tutorial is the easiet way to learn Tigrinya language. It consists of Lessons, Exercises, Quizzes, Report and short stories Reader.
Lessons: There are several lesson topics to choose from. For example, in the "Lesson By ABCD", the alphabets are ordered by abcd ...z. This is helpful, especially for a novice user to easily learn Tigrinya letter using English/Latin letter and hear the sound. Users typed text can be converted to sound, very much like text to speach.
Exercise/Quiz: There are several exerice topics to choose from. They range from simple to more complex. It has a user friendly Add and Drop technology to match Tigrinya alphabets to corresponding Latin syllables. In the excercise, the user can easily match the alphabets by correcting mistakes instantly using the sounds and pronounciations. When in the Quiz mode, user answers are all recorded and student can go to progress Report to view detailed information about outcome of the quiz.
Reader: The reader program contains popular chidlren short stories. Each Tigrinya letter in the story is live with sound and pronouncation. It is fun to listen to the computer read the story letter by letter, almost like a spoken Tigrinya.
